Z -- REPLACE A/C SYSTEM, BUILDING 58, NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY, NEW ORLEANS, LA SOL N62467-98-B-7076 DUE 073198 POC Marlene Crawford (504) 678-2150 The work includes a new central heating, ventilating, and AC system (excluding boiler) for Building 58 by replacing the existing air-cooled chiller and one AHU with a new 40-ton cooled chiller, VAV air handler, new externally insulated ductwork, new restroom exhaust fans and ductwork, VAV terminal units with hot water coils, hot water piping to the new air handler and VAV terminal units, electrical work, an extension of the existing Johnson Controls, Inc. "Metasys/Facilitator" Building Management System to provide for DDC of HVAC systems function, and incidental related work. The existing chiller, air handler, ductwork, and exhaust fans shall be demolished in accordance with the project sequence of construction. Asbestos abatement, provision for working in the presence of lead-based paint, and lead-based paint abatement of ceilings and walls are included and incidental related work. Estimated Cost Range: $250,000 to $500,000. The due date of 31 July 1998 is an estimated date. The proposed procurement will be issued on an unrestricted basis.
