The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC is seeking sources for M30A1 propellant for evaluation in the 155mm Modular Artillery Charge System (MACS) and for the potential establishment of a propellant source and/or sources for future MACS requirements. The anticipated quantity is 20,000 pounds of triple based 7 perforated granular propellant consistent with standard military grade M30A1 propellant with approximated web size in the 0.070" to 0.105" range. The sample would be evaluated for ballistic performance. The anticipated delivery schedule is 90 days after contract award. Sources are responsible for obtaining authorization of shipping safety hazard classifications and packaging requirements. Responders must provide a qualification statement including applicable experience; annual production capability of triple based propellant and storage capacity.
