This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1PI-Q-0072-98 is issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Standard industrial code is 5084. Item 0001 -- Verticle Panel Saw Universal SVP 133BB HD, two (2) one piece units, vertical panel saws with heavy duty welded steel frames, rear connected. Each unit specifications are 1 each 4.8 HP motor for connection at 230/460 three phase 60 cycle with overload (complete system =2 each, 1 (one) repetitive ripping device (complete system=2), 1 (one) hinged support rail in two sections (complete system=2), self contained dust collector and vacuum hose (complete system=2), three (3) panel stops per frame (complete system=6, four (4) reference stops for horizontal cutting per frame (complete system=8), one (1) set service tools (complete system =2), **additional specification requirements: 126" per side maximum length of cut, 75" per side maximum height of vertical cut, 61" per side maximum height of horizontal cut, 2.3" per side depth of cut, 6000 (RPM) per side blade speed, 250mm per side blade diameter, 30mm per side arbor diameter. ***Dimensions of each frame: 176" Length, 95" Height, 10' Width, 3500 Gross weight.Item 0002 -- Forty (40) each 10" Main Blade -- Fine Cut, Triple Chip, 72-82 Teeth.
