install communication system for emergency use from 5 parking lots
located at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 4101
Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, Nebraska 68105. Scope of work will include
providing and installing Code Blue, or equivalent system, consisting of
five stand alone units (2 for the visotors lot, 1 for the
patient/handicapped lot, 1 for service connected parking lot, and 1 for
the doctor's lot) as well as all required radio transmitters and
receivers for these units. The system would be monitored 24 hours per
day, 7 days per week by the VA telephone operators. Award will be based
on the best value to the Government. As a minimum the Government will
consider the following factors in its proposal evaluation: Cost or
price evaluation, past performance evaluation, quality of the product,
and technical evaluation, Request for Proposal No. 636-39-98 has been
assigned to this solicitation and will be issued approximately June
22, 1998. All requests for this proposal must be in writing and may be
