VA Medical Center, Louisville, KY, seeks qualified source(s) to provide the design and installation including labor and material for Audio Video Distance Learning System for surgical operating suites at the VA Medical Center, Louisville. Design details may include the following: high resolution cameras with pan, tilt, zoom mount, and microphones; fail-safe mounting system for cameras; Cabling and connectors for camera power, video, movement control, and audio from each camera to its server location. (Electrical connection to be provided with a single connector); Cabling and connectors for auxiliary video connection from wall mounted signal outlet box to server location; Camera server equipment with required I/O devices. (If more than one server is required to be located together, an A/B/C switch can be used in place of having separate monitors/keyboards/and mouse inputs; Camera Server video memory; Server network software; Networkable Video conferencing software with features for camera control and Window-Window presentation (ten (10) user license); one (1) SVGA to NTSC video adapter and one (1) VCR (4 head); ATM network to each client and server location with at least a cat-5, 150 MBPS transfer rate. Equipment required to operate the camera movement, video, audio, power, and auxiliary video shall be located outside of the operating suites. Equipment will require design features which MINIMIZE requirements of the technicians for power on and setup procedures.
