This announcement constitures the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F66501-98-T0780#2 is issued as a request for quotation and will be awarded as a purchase order using the simplified acquisition procedures. This solicitation document and incoprorated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. Standard Industrial Classification is 3851. All quotes received shall be FOB Destination Howard AFB Panama. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items, 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items: evaluation factors are Price, Delivery, Best Vaule and Past Performance and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. There is addenda to FAR 52.212-4 para (c) Changes. Changes in the terms and conditions of this contract may be made only by written aggreement of the parties with the exception of administrative changes. The provisions at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
