E-MAIL: Kathy Wood, Kathy.Wood@gsa.gov. GSA will conduct an "open season" procurement to allow for additional offers for the Financial Management Systems Software (FMSS) Schedule. This Schedule will be open for mainframe, mini, and micro based software packages and is the mandatory means by which federal agencies acquire accounting and financial management systems software. Schedule contracts will be awarded to all responsible vendors who are responsive to the solicitation for offers. The solicitation, to be issued on or about 06/19/98 will be available upon written request to the Contracting Officer. Proposals will be due on or about 07/21/98, and contracts will be awarded for a period of 12 months or less with contracts expiring on/or before September 30, 1999. The anticipated release date of RFP No. KECP-94-001 is on or about June 19, 1998, with an anticipated proposal due date of on or about July 21, 1998. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See Note "B". (0152)
