This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is Request for Quotation number 12QR4-076-98. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. Set-aside for small businesses -- SIC Code: 3496 Size Standard: 500 Line Items As Follows for 15 Miles of Fencing Materials: 1. Barbed Wire -- 2 point 12.5 guage/16 rolls per mile 2. Steel fence posts-T posts, 5.5 feet, 1.33 certified with enough clips for 4 wires/330 per mile 3. Treated pine posts 6 feet long , 5-6 inch diameter (treatment must penetrate 3/4" into post)/20 per mile 4. Fence stays, galvanized 9.5 guage, 38 inches long/200 per mile 5. Barbless wire, 2 strand, 12.5 guage/1 roll per mile 6. Fence staples, galvanized, 1.25 inches long/1 box per mile Items will be delivered to the Malta Work Station of the Sawtooth National Forest, Burley Ranger District, Burley Idaho by June 22, 1998, FOB Destination.
