(MedPAC) is seeking a contractor to conduct a survey of physicians. The
survey will provide data on the effects of Medicare payment policies
implemented in 1998. Since new payment policies will be implemented on
January 1, 1999, fieldwork must be completed in the fall of 1998. A
single contractor is being sought to provide these services under a
cost plus fixed-fee contract for a period of one year. Potential
offerors must have extensive demonstrated experience in conducting
telephone surveys, survey design, and surveys of physicians. RFP
03-98-MedPAC will be issued on or about June 8, 1998. Interested
