The order will procure the services of Varone Consulting Group, 30103 Merchant Court, Great Falls, VA 22066, for the redesign of the Federal Aviation Management Information System (FAMIS) and to develop acquisition related documents for the replacement of FAMIS. The Varone Consulting Groupd, Inc has developed and currently maintains the Common Aviation Management Information System (C-AMIS) Standard. The standard is to be used by all Federal agencies in the aviation community to develop standardized aviation management information systems. Varone was found to be the only vendor that could meet the limited but unique requirements so the system redesign will be fully implemented by September 15, 1999. See note no.22.***** (0152)
