Frascella, via internet: kfrascella@usaid.gov, Tel: (202)712-5977, Fax: (202)216-3052 The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Global Programs, Field Support and Research, Center for Population, Health and Nutrition (PHN Center) seeks an organization interested in providing global leadership to reduce micronutrient deficiencies among vulnerable groups in developing countries. USAID anticipates the award of a five year $30,000,000 Food and Nutrition Technical Assistance Program Cooperative Agreement" to an U.S. NGO under its Nutrition Results Package. This activity is designed to assist the PHN Center, Bureau for Humanitarian Response, regional bureaus and USAID Missions, governments donor agencies, Cooperating Sponsors and research entities to improve food and nutrition policy, strategy and program development. This award will be based on a full and open competition. The Request for Applications (RFA), when issued, will provide the final information on the closing date. USAID intends to release the RFA on or about June 15, 1998 via the internet with complete and comprehensive program description, requirements for applicants and the evaluation criteria for this competitive process.
