The work to be performed will include all labor, materials,equipment,and incidentals necessary and required for the upgrade of three Missile Alert Facilities,with an option for essentially the same work at an additional three Missile Alert Facilities all in the vicinity of Malmstrom AFB Mt.Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 23 June 1998. The solicitation limits proposers to only those firms with a minimum of five years construction experience and expertise in the area of remodeling/renovation. Proposal Closing date will be on or about 23 July 1998. Performance period is 150 Calendar days after issuance of Notice To Proceed for each potential group of three Missile Alert Facilities. The acquisition is open competition for large and small business in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. Only written requests for the solicitation will be considered. All responsible sources may submit an offer,which shall be considered by the agency.
