Project includes, but is not limited to, the following major items: removal of the four existing wood towers, its' fire suppression system and all appurtenant material. The towers will be replaced with four new cooling towers rated a 1500 tons of refrigeration each, steel dunnage, piping, controls, heat tracing and all appurtenant material to make the cooling towers fully operational, as further described in the plans and specifications. Contractors must be located within 50 mile radius of Manhattan, NY; must submit evidence of a minimum of 3 years experience in similar projects of equal dollar value and provide references; have the capability of handling related trades. Cost Range: $750,000 to $2,100,000.
