Z -- REPAIR HANGAR ROOFS, HANGARS 1, 3, 5, 7, & 9 SOL YTPM 96-0074 DUE 062298 POC Michael I LaFortune, Contracting Officer or Donald P Hebert, Contract Specialist at 413/557-2603 Project YTPM 96-0074 consists of providing and installing a new snow guard system at Hangars 1, 3, 5, 7 & 9 (Buildings 7087, 7075, 7073, 7072 and 7071)respectively. The hangar roofs are 200' X 200' barrel vaults approximately 50' at the top. Cutting and patching to re-bond the barrel is ancillary to the new snow guard installation. Removal, replacement and protection of various vents and sheet metal louvers assemblies is similarly. A 50' X 200' lean-to at each side of the vaulted roof require both rubber roof and insulation replacement and re-bonding at various locations. Bid issue on or about July 07, 98. Bid opening on or about August 18, 98. Performance period will be three hundred sixty five (365) calendar days. Estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This procurement is being solicited in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns.
