Species shall be NO. 1 grade or better Southern Pine, and shall conform to American Softwood Lumber StandardPS-20. Species and commercial grade shall conform to Southern Pine Inspection Bureau (SPIB) grading rules. Timber design stresses: Fb = 1200 PSI; Fv = 90 PSI. Omit grade stamps entirely and issue Certificate of Grade Compliance of the Association under whose rules it was graded. All lumber shall be cut from live sound trees. They shall be free from large unsound knots, loose knots, or any other defects which would impair their strength. Preservative pressure treat lumber with water borne preservative, Alkaline Copper Quat (ACQ) to comply with American Wood Preservers Association, (AWPA) Specification C2; and with requirements for above ground use of American Wood Preservers Bureau (AWPB) quality assurance LP-2. Penetration of Preservatives shall meet or exceed the minimum retention requirements of AWPA standard P5. Lumber to be kiln dried to a moisture content of 15% or less. All dimension lumber width and thicknesses are actual. Maximum tolerance on dimension lumber shall be 1/16". REQUIRED DELIVERY DATE: no later than July 20th, 1998, LOCATION: Northern Great Lakes Center, Route 3 Box 418, Ashland, WI 54806. Insert a price opposite each item. Shipping is FOB.
