Presolicitation Notice for the re-compete of the Fort Carson Directorate of Public Works Base Operations and Maintenance services. This effort is to provide management, labor, equipment, parts, services and supplies to operate, maintain, and repair real property at Fort Carson, Colorado. This effort also includes a requirement to provide a minimal amount of project work (e.g. minor construction, alteration, repair or renovation of real property). This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-aside. The estimated solicitation issue date is 15 July 1998. The Government plans to make the solicitation available at the Directorate of Contracting Web Page: http://158.4.161.201/. The existing contract for the services currently being performed will expire on 30 September 1998. The Government anticipates award of a Cost Plus Award Fee contract. The performance period shall be for a Base period and four one year option periods. The successful offeror will be afforded a phase-in period prior to the Base Period. For this acquisition, the "Best Value" contractor will be selected using Formal Source Selection Procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.
