Q -- HEALTH CARE CLAIMS AUDIT SERVICES SOL MDA90698R0001 DUE 090498 POC Contact Contracting Officer, LAURA SELLS, 303 676 3420, Contract Specialist, CINDY DAHLSTROM, 303 676 3516 TMA intends to issue a solicitation for auditing services of Health Care contractor's to process claims for quality control and negative and positive incentive application. The audit process entails the evaluation of TRICARE contractor payment determinations based on the claims, attendant documentation and other source documents and files used in the health care claim adjudication process and the evaluation of contractor payment record coding based on the above documentation and the contractor payment determinations. These evaluations are made by comparing the contractor's processing and coding decisions with regulatory guidance. One of the purposes of the TRICARE claims audit is to determine the accuracy of institutional and professional claim payments and institutional and professional payment record coding made by TRICARE contractors. The proposed contract will be for a period of 12 months with four one-year option periods. The Government does not intend to use FAR Part 12 for this acquisition. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered for award. All requests for solicitation MDA906 98-R-0001 must be in writing. The RFP will only be sent to those firms which request it in writing and those contractors who have previously submitted proposals. Telephone requests will not be honored.
