Hayes, (202)401-5404 The purpose of this contract is to provide (1)
technical assistance to States for the evaluation of the child welfare
demonstration projects that will be implemented by States which
receive waivers for certain requirements of Titles IV-b and IV-E of the
Social Security Act; (2) to collect, analyze, synthesize and
disseminate information that becomes available through the
State-conducted evaluations and similar evaluation efforts; (3) to
provide a national assessment of program implementation and program
impact for the projects already begun and any approved in the future;
and (4)to provide logistical support for meetings among State and
Federal Staff involved in the implementation and evaluation of the
demonstration projects. The anticipated period of performance for this
project is five years (5) which shall consist of five (5) phases. This
project is set aside for small businesses, interested parties should
request RFP 105-98-1653. All requests shall be submitted in writing, no
telephone requests will be honored. The anticipated RFP release date
will be on or about June 29, 1998. All responsible sources may submit
