R -- COMMUNITY RELATIONS SUPPORT IN EPA REGION III SOL PR-R3-98-10488 DUE 072998 POC Andy Blaney (215) 814-5196 A time and materials contract is contemplated for community relations support activities in support of the US Environmental Protection Agency, Region III which includes the states of PA, DE, MD, VA, WV and the District of Columbia. RFP Number PR-R3-98-10488 issue date on or about June 29, 1998. The proposed contract will include a minimum of $100,000 of work and a maximum to be negotiated. The period of performance shall be a three year base period with one two year option. The contractor shall provide needed personnel, equipment and materials to develop and/or revise site specific Community Relations Plans, arrange, attend, and support public meetings, prepare and disseminate public notices, fact sheets, newsletters, proposed remedial action plans, develop mailing lists, prepare graphics and provide audio-visual support, translators, develop and score community surveys, establish and/or support information repositories, conduct conferences, and workshops, support media events, enhance projects using GIS, provide internet support, conduct community outreach surveys, arrange conference calls and assist in establishing stakeholder partnerships. The contractor will be required to have computer software which is compatible with that in use by EPA.
