The project consists of upgrading the stand alone direct digital control (DDC) HVAC System in CRREL Laboratory Building No. 1975 to allow for the use of a networkable DDC system with an energy management system. The energy management system will allow the control of the air handling units and zone mixing boxes. The hot/cold zone mixing boxes will be substantially modified to allow for two individually controllable hot and cold dampers each with its own actuator and outlet airflow velocity sensor. The mixing box dampers will be coverted to control the hot-air and cold-air ducts resulting in a single duct supply. The estimated cost range for this project is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. Completion date is 60 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement, open to all prospective bidders. SIC CODE is 1731.
