Sealed offers are due on or before Thursday, July 2, 1998 no later than 4:00 p.m. EST. The estimated cost of construction is between $500,000.00 and $600,000.00 with construction completion 150 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC OPENING OF THE PROPOSALS AND THE RESULTS OF THE ADVERTISEMENT WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED UNTIL AWARD OF THE PROJECT. There will be a preproposal conference held on site (955 Goffs Falls Road, Manchester) on Friday, June 19, 1998 beginning at 2:00 p.m. to discuss the specifics of this project. Prospective contractors are encouraged to attend this meeting. Work includes, but is not limited to, providing all materials, labor, and equipment required to construct new battery charging/repair areas to include, but not limited to, new HVAC system, electrical systems, fire suppression, lighting, plumbing, flooring, ceiling, painting, finish work, metal fabrications, shelving assembly, masonry, steel work, demolition and other work as specified in technical drawings and specifications.
