65 -- PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF SMARTLIGHT 4000 PLUS DIGITAL FILM VIEWER SOL N00168-98-Q-202A DUE 061798 POC Ms. Tracy Holland (301) 295-0294 The National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD intends to award a sole sourced order to Smartlight, Inc for the purchase, installation, training and minor maintenance coverage of Smartlight 4000 plus Digital Film Viewer. This unit shall be computer controlled, eliminate glare, and control ambient room lighting for improved visualization and interpretation of diagnostic mammography films. Viewer must display up to (4) four standard 14 x 17 unch films. Viewer must automatically adjust illumination intensity based on the density displayed image and must have flicker-free illumination. All responsible sources may submit a technical package which shall be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with in the discretion of the Government.
