The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for the fabrication and assembly of a series of neutron collimators of high precision and quality. ** This is an indefinite delivery -- indefinite quantity contract for a period of one year, with options for two additional years. ** The Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment and materials to fabricate neutron collimators with either aluminum or steal housings and vanes made of either steel, aluminum, polyester, Melinex, or radiation-resistant plastic. ** The collimators shall be internally-coated with gadolinium oxide or boron-10, of varying thicknesses. The collimators shall be either linear or radial, and shall be built in accordance with designs and specifications supplied by NIST. ** Delivery of finished neutron collimators shall be F.O.B. Destination, NIST, Gaithersburg, MD. ** This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside.
