70 -- MULTIPURPOSE DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM SOL N68936-98-R-0158 DUE 072898 POC Linda Long, Contract Specialist, (760) 939-4232 The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA 93555-6100 intends to procure one mobile multipurpose data acquisition system consisting of the following: 2 ea Mainframe including 233 MHz Pentium Windows PC, 65 MB RAM, 4GBhard disk drive, 100Mb, TFT display, keyboard, mouse, floppy disk, Ethernet, SCSI, serial, parallel interfaces, and system software; 2 ea Keyboards; 5 ea Memory Modules consisting of 8-channel acquisition card, 200 Megasamples per channel memory (4GB total, 38 minutes storage at top speed with all channels recorded); 3 ea High Speed Acquisition Amplifiers consisting of 4 channels, 10MS/s, 14-bit, 2Msamples RAM channel, 4GB hard disk mass storage, including programmable differential amplifier; 5 ea Basic 8-channel Amplifiers, uses 2 slots and 4 BNC connectors per slot, 100kS/s, 16-bit, 25 kHz bandwidth; 5 ea Bridge Amplifier, uses 1 slot, including 4 mating connectors, 100kS/s, 16-bit, 10kHz bandwidth; 4 ea Thermocouple Amplifier, uses 1 slot, 10kHz bandwidth, and type J,K,E and T thermocouples; 2 ea Software Licenses (for post-acquisition analysis and report generation software); 2 ea 2GB External Jazz Drive Integrated with System; 2 ea Shipping Cases, (sturdy, rigid case with pullout handle and casters for easy transport); 1 ea Off-line Software; and 1 ea one-day on-site Training Session for 3-4 people. System must be capable of expanding to an unlimited multi-channel system by adding another modulated recorder increasing its channel capacity by 32 channels. The mobile data acquisition system will support remote operations and sysems evaluation, and be used to acquire data from various environmental and performance tests conducted at multiple test sites at China Lake. The System must meet the government reuirements for accuracy, sensitivity, speed, dependability and durability needed to acquire the necessary information on a particular test. Supplier must have the expertise and capability to assemble the system per government requirements.
