The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments command, Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC), Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, 07806-5000, is currently seeking interested sources to offer contract action for Systems Technical Support (STS) and shall furnish the personnel, facilities, supplies and services necessary to support production and fielding of the M109A6 Paladin 155mm Self-Propelled Howitzer with Engineering, Configuration Management, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Quality Assurance, Standardization and related activities. The Systems Technical Support (STS) includes vehicle maintenance upgrades, publication of Technical Manuals, performance of engineering work directives and production engineering studies for the U.S. Army. The proposed contract will also provide the necessary services for fielding and Foreign Military Sales. The proposed contract will be for three years for use on the M109A6 Paladin 155mm Self-Propelled Howitzer. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is 15 Sep 98. All or part of this action is an unfunded FY99 requirement. It is the intent of the contract to be sole source to the original equipment manufacturer, which is UDLP, Paladin Production Division, Chambersburg, PA. See Note 22. (0154)
