614/336-7343 Construct Base Supply Complex. Work involves construction
of a new 37,500 SF facility for the Base Supply Function, relocation
of a Liquid Oxygen Facility, construction of a new access road and a
new Guard House, installation of new 20" water main, and demolition of
an existing 24,800 SF masonry single story facility. The project
includes office, conference rooms, classrooms, warehouse, secure
storage areas, arms vult, men's and women's latrines/showers/locker
rooms, and open administrative areas for pre-wired workstations. The
new construction consists of CMU walls and drywall, suspended ceilings,
overhead insulated doors and electric operators, dock levelers,
insulated windows, bow trusses with standing seam metal roof, interior
metal halide in high bay area, exterior metal poles with HPS lighting,
interior finishes to include carpeting, systems furniture, and
casework. Also included in the new construction is the installation of
the primary underground electric, gas line and sewer laterals, utility
meters, HVAC and duct work, infrared heat system, pulse type boilers,
air compessor, new wiring, communications manholes and wiring to
include fiber optics, new wet pipe fire suppression system, fire
detection and alarm systems and security systems for arms vault. The
associated site work includes, earth moving, asphalt parking lots,
concrete curbs and gutters, equipment loading dock, asphalt access
road, new Guard House, storm drainage and landscaping. Demolition work
includes asbestos abatement and proper disposal and abatement of other
hazards. The project also includes relocation of existing mechanized
mechanical handling equipment from Bldg 102, and relocation of existing
carpentry equipment from Bldg 110. Technical questions should be

packages will be available on or about June 16, 1998 with bid opening
