10 -- 10-MK 31 STABILIZER SOL N00406-98-R-5134 DUE 072498 POC Victor Angkico 360-476-0267 The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for Mk 31, Mod 1, Stabilizers, in accordance with Department of the Navy Drawing Number 3261979 and its associated drawings in support of the Mk 46 Torpedo program. The solicitation will be for a base quantity with 3 or 4 option quantities. The base quantity will be for 996 units. The option quantities will be for 1000 units each. Four first articles will be required from unproven sources. Option 1 will be exercised approximately within 365 days after first article approval (FAA); Option 2 exercised within approximately 730 days after FAA; Option 3 exercised within approximately 1095 days after FAA; and Option 4 (if required) exercised within 1460 days after FAA. It is desired that the contractor deliver 200 units approximately every 100 days. Delivery of the first articles is desired within 180 days after contract award. The contract will have inspection and acceptance at origin, with shipment of the units to the various Government sites via GBL. The solicitation will be issued on or about 24 June 98 with a 30 day closing date as a 100% small business set-aside, SIC 2892. Past performance will be evaluated and compliance to the ISO-9000 quality matrix is required. All responsible sources may submit an offer.
