dollases.jfk@navair.navy.mil. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to
issue a cost plus fixed fee delivery order under Basic Ordering
Agreement N00019-98-G-0037 with McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a wholly
owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, for aircraft integration and
analysis of JSOW and JDAM smart weapons in the F/A-18E/F aircraft. This
requirement includes analysis by the contractor of the following:
captive loads, stability and control, catapult and arrestment dynamic
response, store ejection dynamic response, flying qualities, stability
and control, dynamic environment data, strength, and store separation.
The following tests will be performed by the contractor: captive
carriage flight loads, stability and control, store/suspension
equipment structural integrity ground tests, dynamic stores ejection,
flying qualities/flaps auto flight and in-flight vibration/acoustic
measurement. Test to be supported by the contractor include fit and
function ground tests, EMC/HERO, Carrier Suitability Ground Loads,
Carrier Suitability/Flaps Half and Full Flight. See Note 22. Synopsis
