17 -- ELECTRONIC SUB ASSEMBLY TEST SET FOR THE H-60 AIRCRAFT SOL N68335-98-XXXX DUE 062098 POC Michael Markle 732-323-7339 Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) for the H-60 aircraft, consisting of the following item (1) Electronic Sub Assembly Test Set (ESATS), P/N SAC-512. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not own the data rights specifications or technical drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure this item under the authority of U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Eclycpse International Corporation, Ontario, CA, as the designer, developer and manufacturer of the PSE to be acquired, is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary for the manufacture of the PSE involved. Firms that recognize and produce the required item are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in deterrmining whether to conduct a competetive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Goverment. See Note 22. (0155)
