Specification as follows. (Required Features). (1) Copy process shall be digital imaging process utilizing a LED imaging methods. Analog imaging processes will not be considered. (2) Output resolution shall be 400 dots per inch (DPI) with minimum of 32 gray scale capability for use in reproducing a wide range of images, including aerial photographs. The unit shall be capable of processing negative/positive reverse drawing images. Automatic copy contracting and adjustable margin shifting is required. (3) Print speed shall be a minimum of 1 feet per minute. (4) The copier shall be capable of reducing and enlarging original images through a range of 25% to 400% in a single process scan. (5) The copier shall be able to produce a minimum of 20 copies per image scan. (6) Unit shallbe configured with a two (2) roll selectable copy paper feed. (7) The copier shall be configured for and capable of utilizing Scan Once -- Print Many operations. Minimum standard memory shall be 16 Mbytes with a minimum expanded memory unit, size shall be 48 Mbyte (64 Mbytes total). (8) The unit shall have the ability to provide a sample copy of the output without producing a full size copy of the original drawing. Automatic paper length recognition is required. (9) Service contract: (a) Submit as part of the cost proposal the cost for an annual service contract. The annual service contract shall include all parts and labor and shall be paid monthly or quarterly. (b) Estimated monthly usage is estimated at 3,000 lineal feet per month. (c) Submit as part of the cost proposal the cost per lineal feet for any additional copier usage in excess of 3,000 lineal feet. (d) Initial on-site response to service calls shall be accomplished within 4 hours. The proposed wide format imaging system identified under this solicitation is the primary means of reproduction and therefore must be repaired within the time specified. Subject solicitation is open for full and open competition. This is not a small business set-aside. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
