99 -- MISCELLANEOUS DUE 061998 POC Donna Wright, (202)927-7723 The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF)intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with Envisage Systems Ltd for RAW-1 Typewriter Ribbon Transcription System. Specifications as follows: Equipment must transcribe and print out the contents of single, double and three row strike carbon ribbons. Record and process Roman and Non-Roman characters together with mathematical and technical symbols. System must be designed to ensure that vial evidence is not lost or damaged. Facility to enable the operator to place his identity, reference numbers, dates and comments on record. Capability for hard copy print-out and computer disk storage for purposes of re-examination of the evidence, if required, without the need to handle the original ribbon. Quotes must include price and product literature information which list specifications. This award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. Awardee must complete an SF-3381, ACH Vendor/Miscellaneous Payment form, for payment via electronic funds transfer. No solicitation available.
