M -- CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER SOL 549-84-98 DUE 072798 POC Candi Wood, Contracting Officer (214) 302-6815 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a developer/operator for a Child Development Center at the VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS) in Dallas, TX for a period not to exceed thirty years. The 7,206 square foot center will be located in a newly constructed Community Center located on the VANTHCS campus. The contractor will be required to finance, finish-out, maintain, and operate the Child Development Center (including outside play area) in accordance with State of Texas/ Dallas County childcare regulations and building codes. In consideration for the lease at a nominal yearly cost, the contractor will charge lower use fees for childcare services for children of VA employees and market rates to the public.
