Ryan (518) 786-4986 (Site Code DAHA30) The required work consists of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision required to construct an Army National Guard Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS) in strict accordance with plans and specifications provided by the Government. Construction of the OMS will consist of approximately 10,713 SF. The building will comprise a vehicle maintenance facility with four (4) maintenance workbays, one (1) warm up bay, administrative spaces, both heated and unheated supply and storage areas, hazardous materials and flammable storage areas, and personal areas to include a break room and male and female latrines with shower facilities. The building will be constructed of masonry block, concrete floors, masonry block partitions, and a standing metal seam roofing system. Supporting facilities include privately owned vehicle parking area, fencing, hydraulic lifting device, vehicle exhaust system, utilities and telecommunications. The construction schedule and all elements of the project will be closely coordinated with The New York State Division of Military and Naval Affairs Facilities and Engineering Directorate. The magnitude of this proposed project is between 1,000.000.00 and 5,000,000.00. The work will be bid a lump sum, firm fixed price contract. The anticipated performance time for this project is 270 calendar days after notice to proceed is issued. IFB DAHA30-98-B-0008 will be issued on or about 24 June 1998, with a bid opening date on or about 21 July 1998. A pre bid conference will be held at the Syracuse Armory, 6900 Thompson Road, Syracuse, New York 13211 at a time and date to be determined before issuance of IFB.
