This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and performing all operation in connection with Installing Lightning Protection at Building 433 and 434, Eglin AFB FL. In general, the work consists of removing existing lightning protection system, install new lightning protection system consisting of, but not limited to, air terminals, counterpoise, roof conductors, down conductors, ground connections, ground rods, connections to metallic parts within the building, etc.. Contract will be for a period of 45 calendar days. Bid open of 4 Aug 98 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. Estimated dollar range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business.
