Significant demolition work of existing laundry structural, electrical, mechanical and concrete is involved. Building contains asbestos and lead paint that will have to be abated. New work includes roof, mechanical systems, electrical systems, 12,000+ square feet of conditioned office space, a storage mezzanine, reconfiguration of fire protection, and exterior wall insulation. Existing office spaces will be remodeled. Completion time is 365 calendar days. Estimated cost of this procurement is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. This procurement will be issued as unrestricted with a small disadvantaged business preference as outlined within the solicitation. Estimated issue date of this procurement is 1 July 1998.
