Standing Solicitation 7FXG-E4-97-8409-B for Federal Supply Schedule FSC
Group 84, Part II, Section B, which originally issued June 20, 1997.
This refreshment contains all new regulatory changes. Effective with
this refreshed solicitation, Schedule 84/II/B becomes Worldwide. The
Government contemplates establishing contracts, which may be used as
sources of supply for domestic and/or overseas delivery for the
supplies listed in the Schedule of Items. Resulting contracts for
domestic delivery will be FOB Destination, 48 contiguous United States
and Washington, DC. Overseas delivery will be FOB Destination for
delivery outside the 48 contiguous United States and Washington, DC.

therefore, offers may be submitted for consideration at any time during
the life of this solicitation. This solicitation will remain in effect
unless amended and/or replaced by an updated. Contracts awarded under
this solicitation will include anoption to extend the term of the
contract and will be in effect for five years from date of award,
unless further extended pursuant to any Option to Extend the Term of
the Contract, or canceled, whichever is sooner. Individual contract
awards will be effective the first day of the month following the date
of award and expire five years (exclusive of any options) from the
DOA. All contracts will be indefinite delivery -- indefinite quantity
contracts with $100 guaranteed minimum for the contract period. Offers
will be accepted for products identical to those currently awarded.
The solicitation includes 45 Special Item Numbers covering the
following categories: gloves, polyvinyl, nitril, pvc coated, rubber,
synthetic rubber; waterproof, chemical and electrical safety protective
worksuits consisting of jackets, coats, pants, bib overalls, 2 pc
suits; all lightweight rainwear, caps, hats & covers; industrial work
footwear consisting of over-the-sock work boots, rubber overshoes,
utility boots, hip & knee boots, waders, safety toe shoes and
boots; heavy cold weather industrial work clothing such as coats,
jackets, insulated vests, overalls, coveralls, pants, gloves,
insulated/waterproof boots; anti-exposure clothing such as coveralls,
jackets, coats with/w/o beavertails, pants designed to keep body
afloat, provide hypothermia protection (CG approved); abandon
ship/immersion total coverage suits designed to keep body afloat &
dry(CG approved); disposable coveralls; general purpose coveralls;
clothing for food preparation and serving, chef's clothing; structural
firefighting clothing -- NFPA approved coats, trousers, boots,
helmets, gloves, stationwear; personal flotation devices both CG
approved and non-CG approved. SIN 633-42 -- New Technology has been
renamed as 633-42 -- Introduction of New Products. Various clauses
including Clause I-FSS-599, Electronic Commerce -- Federal Acquisition
Network (FACNET), which implements GSA Advantage (GSA's On-Line
Shopping Program) are included. Also included in Clause I-FSS-125,
Requirements Exceeding the Maximum Order and related clauses that
implement the new maximum order provisions. These new provisions allow
customer agencies to seek price decreases based on requirements, which
exceed the maximum order established on any resultant contracts. To
assist the customer agencies to determine when they should seek a price
decrease, a level called a maximum order will be established under each
contract. When an agency order exceeds this amount, it is recommended
that the agency contact the vendor for a reduced price. The vendors
will not be obligated to accept these orders in accordance with FAR
52.216-19 (Var III). All contracts to be awarded include Industrial
Funding provisions. See Note 12 (Trade Agreements). All responsible
