Carkeek 360-476-9240 The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound intends to issue on a sole source basis contract for overhaul right angle drive and gear soft start modification to No. 3 and No. 4 cooling pumps turbine generator for the USS John Stennis to Northrop Grumman. Due to all drawings required are propreitary and owned by Northrop Grumman. All modifications and parts are to be supplied in accordance with the instructions contained in drawings 1467J11 and 6512E89 group. Work shall be accomplished at vendors facility and on board the USS John Stennis at North Island Naval Air Station, San Diego, CA. With the start date 02 Nov 1998. The solicitation will be issued on or about 20 Jun 1998 with a 30 day closing. All responsible sources may submit an offer/bid which shall be considered by FISC Puget Sound.
