The work consists of improving approximately 300 feet of road and replacing two culvert pipes (1-41"x20' and 1-30"x20') with a 12'x6'x24' Con Span bottomless structure. Work includes restoring road prism; removal of the existing culvert pipes; excavation, removal and disposal of debris; hauling and placement of Government-furnished borrow; furnishing, hauling and placement of crushed aggregate; construction of the Con Span structure; construction of temporary crossing; other related site work. Project site is located in Josephine County, Medford District, Oregon. Project price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start work is August 3, 1998, and performance time is 90 calendar days. This contract includes an option that allows for increased quantities not to exceed fifty percent (50%) of the total contract price.
