Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the replacement of existing Chiller #5. Work is to include the replacement of the chiller and the chiller's chilled water condenser water pumps. The internal components of the existing 600 ton cooling tower #5 shall be replaced. A chemical feed system will be installed. All piping, controls wiring, electrical wiring and connections, pipe fittings, flanges, gaskets, bolts, supports, anchors, equipment and associated architectural, electrical and mechanical items of work for a complete job. The work shall be performed by a mechanical contractor who has at least 5 years experience in chiller and cooling tower installations. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NIMA, EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 160 days. The contractor shall be required to perform a certain amount of work on premium time to eliminate disruption of Government services. The approximate cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This work is located at the National Imagery and Mapping Agency facilities at 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, MO 63118-3399. This project is 100 percent set-aside for small business. The SIC is 1711, size standard $7.0M.
