Maitland, Contract Specialist, 717-770-5811 or Merlene S, DuBose, Contracting Officer, 717-770-7107 The Defense Distribution Center, New Cumberland, PA has a requirement for a contractor to provide the necessary labor, material and equipment on an as-need basis to remove/encapsulate and dispose of asbestos under emergency and non-emergency conditions. Work will be required for all type of asbestos removal conditions and locations. Locations include but are not necessarily limited to offices, supply areas, warehouses, crawl spaces under buildings, etc. Removal will be from, but not necessarily limited to transit siding, floor tile, steamlines, ceiling tiles, air conditiioning lines, boilers, etc. Reinsulation may be required after removal of asbestos containing material. Contract period is anticipated to be from date of award through one year with three (3) option year periods. The estimated price range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 (includes option years).
