10 -- MK46 TORPEDOES AND UPGRADE KITS SOL N00024-98-NR-98641 POC Ms. Angela Maldonado (SEA 02611A)(703)602-7701614X The Naval Sea Systems plans to negotiate with Raytheon Systems Company, Mukilteo, WA, a modification to contract N00024-97-C-6107 for Long Lead Material in support of deliveries for MK46 Torpedoes and Upgrade Kits under FMS requirements for Egypt and Saudi Arabia. A subsequent definitized contract will be negotiated. Raytheon is the sole designer and producer of the MK46 Torpedo and is the only contractor with the expertise and tooling capabilities required to provide the requirement. See Note: 22. (0159)
