49 -- AIR DATA ACCESSORIES KIT FOR THE V-22 PROGRAM SOL N68335-8154-0030 DUE 062498 POC Michael Markle (732) 323-7339 Support Equipment for the V-22 Program, consisting of the following item: (4) Air Data Accessories Kits, High Temperature, P/N V22HT-723. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not own the data rights to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure these items under the authority of U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. NAV-AIDS, USA, Orlando Park, IL, as the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the support equipment to be acquired, is the only firm with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary for the manufacture of the support equipment involved. Firms that recognize and produce the required item are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22. (0159)
