Holloway, Contracting Officer (970) 242-0731 X2037 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with format in subparts 12.6 and 13.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be issued, proposals are being requested from this announcement, a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal number is 575-454-98. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-02. Standard Industrialization Code (SIC) of 8099 is applied. This solicitation is issued subject to the availability of government funds at time of award. This solicitation is unrestricted for the following service: Contractor to provide Medical Internist Services for the period September 14, 1998 through July 2, 1999. ACLS certification preferred. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposal is due June 23, 1998. Internist is to work in clinics, ER, inpatient, and ICU. Schedule is generally Monday -- Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm -- Three in-house on-call nights/month (24.5 hours) off the day after being on-call, one back-up week every 6-7 weeks: carry pager after regular working hours but seldom get called; one weekend every 6-7 weeks: work Friday until 8:00pm, Sat am rounds (approx. 3 hours, Sunday am rounds (approx. 3 hours) Sunday 3:00pm-Monday 8:30am in house on-call, Monday off, carry pager over weekend when not in-house but rarely get called. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
