INTEND TO EXTEND CONTRACT DACW51-95-D-0035 MABEL THOMPSON (212) 264-9118 The Corps of Engineers intends to extend the ordering period of Contract DACW51-95-D-0035 with Batalle Ocean Sciences, Inc. for the period of Four (4) months, from 1 Aug 98 to 30 Nov 98. This is an extension of ordering period only. No increases in dollars in the maximum ordering amount under the existing contracts will take place. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (2). As set forth in Far 6.302-1 Inherent duplication of cost to the Government & unacceptable delays in extending the project make competition unfeasible for this four (4) month extension. This extension allows the Government time to procure new Contract(s) with effective date of 1 Dec. 98.
