Y -- REPAIR OF 1997 STORM DAMAGED FOREST SERVICE ROADS SOL RFP R5-11-98-63 DUE 080798 POC Sue Wickman, Contracting Officer, 530-283-2050 This contract is for shaping, compacting, applying aggregate when required to existing subgrade, applying asphalt surfacing, patching and asphalt berm to Forest Service Transportation system roads damaged by the January 1997 storm event on the Plumas National Forest . This contract requires compacting of subgrade, applying various thicknesses of aggregate to subgrade as required, apply two (2) or three (3) inches of compacted asphalt surfacing and patching, and when required construct an asphalt berm to travelway. Drawings, Special Project Specifications, and Solicitation Packages may be obtained by prospective bidders at the Supervisor's Office of the PLUMAS NATIONAL FOREST. Solicitation forms for the Offeror's use in submitting his/her bid (the pink copy) are furnished free of charge. All requests for Plans, Drawings, and Special Project Specifications must be accompanied by a nonrefundable deposit in the amount of $15.00, (Check or Money Order only) payable to USDA FOREST SERVICE.
