The work includes the provision of all labor, materials, equipment and tools and supervision necessary to perform complete steam trap maintennace at the Newport Naval Complex, Newport RI. The IFB package will be issued on 25 Jun 1998. The BOD is Jul 28 1998. The SIC Code is 1711. The Contract includes both a Base Year and an Option Year Period. The estimated Cost Range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. There is a Guaranteed Minimum of $50,000.00. 2. The Proposed Contract (solicitation) is being issued Unrestricted and is subject to evaluation criteria set forth in DFAR 252.219-7008- Notice of Evaluation Preference for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns, Construction Acquisition Test Program (APR 1996). 3. There is a Non-Refundable charge of $32.00 for Plans and Specifications. Offerors interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this subject project must submit their request along with a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, Money Order or CompanyCheck in the amount of $32.00 to: DEFENSE AUTOMATED PRINTING SERVICE (DAPS), 47 Chandler Street, Newport RI 02841-1712. Each check must be made paybale to the US Treasury and annoated with the applicable solicitation number. One set of Plans and Specifications will be sent via first class mail. Any check recieved without a solicitation number or not made out to the US Treasury will be returned unprocessed. No CASH, or PERSONAL CHECKS will be accepted. No requests for plans and specifications will be accepted without proper payment to DAPS.
