INS requirement is: the main purpose of this Portable Drill is to be portable enough to be transported by a "Bell 205 Jet Ranger" (or similar) small hellicopter. Description: Power unit 4-cylinder, 75 horsepower turbo diesel; Hydraulic Section: 3000 PSI load sensing system/min.; Rotation Unit: 2 speed gear box in combination with variable speed hydraulic motor accommodating both core drilling and augering, maximum rotation speed exceeds 1000 RPM, maximum torque for augering is in excess of 4,500 ft./lbs., with water swivel included. Feed Frame: six foot stroke, 6 foot hydraulic cylinder with 16,000 pounds of push and 21,000 pounds of pullback capacity; Mast: raised and lowered hydraulicly, using lifting bars attached between the head mount and subframe; Mainline Winch: capable of pulling 8000lbs; Wileline Winch: 300' 3/16" shielded cable; Fly Frame: is the base for all components, pockets for four outriggers to hold water containers, four corner leg brackets for leveling the drill on up to a 2:1 slope, ability to attach four(4) truck tires; Drill Pump: 16 gallons per minute (GPM), 500 max PSI diaphram pump, powered by a 6.5 (min.) engine and mounted to a frame with a light roll cage.
