NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for one (1) each Ultra Compact Flash Lamp Pumped ND:Yag Laser, 500mg at 1064nm with 70% gaussian fit beam, nominal repetition rate is 10 hz; one (1) each High efficiency, angle tuned harmonic generator optimzed for 355 nm output internal to indi laser, including shg type 1 and thg KD+P crystals, optimized for 355 nm output, produces 125 mj or 355 nm outpute at 10hz; one (1) each pair of 355 nm dochroic beam splitters, for use inside any indi series laser; and one (1) each internal beam dump suitable for indi series laser. Additional specifications include: Output Energy 135 mJ at 355 nm; Pulse repetition rate 10 Hz, Pulse Width 6-7 nsec; Pulse-to-pulse energy statility <+/-2%; Full-angle beam divergence <0.5 mrad with beam diameter <10 mm; Beam pointing stability <+/- 100 prad; Power requirements < 16 A at 220 V, Power Drift <3%; Weight: Laser Head not to exceed 35 lb, Power Supply not to exceed 135 lb. Full speicifications will be included in the RFQ package. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 3825. The DPAS Rating for this procurment is DO-C9. The anticipated release date of RFQ 923-77535-902 is on or about June 23,1998, with an anticipated quote due date of on or about July 14, 1998.
