This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N68936-98-Q-2052 and is a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. This RFQ is a small business, small purchase set-aside. The SIC code is 3577 and the small business standard is 1,000. Item description: CLIN 0001- 1428 ea. 4.2 GB OPT Media Rewrite Optical Disk. Must be 100% compatible with the Pinnacle Micro APEX 4.6 GB Optical Hard Drive. NOTE: Offerors are advised that they MUST provide literature which clearly states the description/specifications of their proposed product and demonstrates its compatiblity with the above stated Pinnacle Micro APEX Hard Drive. Required delivery is 60 days after receipt of award. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Receiving Officer, China Lake, CA. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, does apply to this acquisition and there are no addendums to this provision. The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items does apply to this acquisition and the specific evaluation criteria will be 1) technically acceptable; 2)price and 3) delivery. The provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
