D -- SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE SOL DHQLGL98MPRL049 DUE 061598 POC Sandy Lute, (618)229-9705 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Procurement Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source contract to IBM Corp, 450 Regency Parkway, Omaha, NE 68114 for the acquisition of software license/maintenance for the following proprietary product: Dictionary, Dictionary Extensibility, Structure Code, Rename and Move Entity Utility, Subnetwork Comparison Utility, Product Environment Interface, OLSD-Unisys 1100, BSD-Unisys 1100, and DBD-DMS1100. This software product is currently installed on equipment located at the DMC in Montgomery, AL. Period of performance for the maintenance is date of award through 30 Mar 99. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance must indicate their interest within 5 days of this announcement. Any party interested inreceiving the pricing request shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-229-9592 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals. All responses to the pricing request from responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the award of the contract. The resultant contract will be firm, fixed price.
